I am delighted to announce that Red Kite Services has been short-listed in the business with ambition category at the Business in Yorkshire Awards, the only awards to honour small and medium businesses across Yorkshire.

The BiY Inspired Awards were created in 2014 by BiY (Business in Yorkshire) and Awards Writers when they realised there were no region-wide awards recognising small and medium businesses.

I am one of 32 businesses from across Yorkshire to be short-listed across the 8 categories. Needless to say, I am looking forward to the awards ceremony in Leeds in October. It comes at a very exciting time for Red Kite Services as we are currently updating our branding and re-organising the business structure, making us very definitely a business with ambition.

Darren Shaw, founder of BiY and chair of the judging panel, said: “It was genuinely inspiring to read all of the entries and hear how Yorkshire SMEs are thriving and working with some of the biggest names not just in the UK, but in the world.

“The BiY Inspired Awards are the only ones honouring small and medium businesses across Yorkshire and those shortlisted really are at the top of their game.”

The other judges are Louise Turner of Awards Writers and Johanne Bentley of Winning Pitch.

Look out for more news very soon about our re-brand and re-organisation, it is all exciting (and a bit scary!)
