Red Kite Services have been offering a web design service for two years. It has been particularly popular with micro- businesses and business start-ups. All our websites are built on a WordPress Template and are responsive (they look good on mobile phones and tablets) and easy for the user to update.

Here are some examples of our websites:

KJ Styling Website
woodside garden
FP macaroons
Embarque Travel
York Wedding Suppliers
Boodika events
Groove Training
Stillingfleet Parish Council

We also always include security, legal requirements, a maintenance page, automated back ups, SEO support and social media sharing and feeds if required. Before any build we work with the client to work out how to showcase their business and what they want to promote – it might be their events or case studies for example – and design the site around that, using their logo as a starting point.

Bespoke Training Manual

Once we have completed the web design and the site is live we provide the client with a bespoke manual showing them how to update the site themselves. We also offer various levels of on-going support, from a basic quarterly website health check to a monthly retainer for keeping the website content up to date and fresh.

Timescale

If the web design is a face-lift for an existing site where the contact remains fairly constant, we can do a quick turnaround – we completed the make-over of the Helencadbury.com in a week. The process is longer if all the content is new, but we would still aim to have the site completed in a maximum of 3 months. We believe that a website is never complete, it should evolve over time and we build our sites to allow this to happen.

Web Design Cost

The price of the website depends on the number of pages and the variety of functions that are required. A typical brochure website starts from around £600,  we will always provide a detailed quote following discussion. Payment can be made in three installments to help spread the cost.
