Yes, the quickest and easiest way to make appointments is to pick up the ‘phone, dial a number and discuss a convenient time for a meeting. It takes about 2 minutes!
We all seem to spend hours on our ‘phones searching the internet, playing games, taking photos, sending emails, but we all seem scared of using them for what they were invented for – speaking to people.
If you try to organise a meeting by email or text it can take forever as you bounce dates backwards and forwards.
Picking up the ‘phone is also good if you have a quick question. It is also particularly good if you are getting frustrated with someone. How many times does the tone of an email or text wind you up? Pick up the ‘phone. It is much easier to sort things out with a conversation and quite often there was no problem in the first place.
