I usually promote Red Kite Services at networking groups as “doing all those jobs that you don’t have time to do!”

Whether because we are self-isolating, working from home or have no work coming in, many of us do now have time to do “all those jobs we never have time to do.”

Here at RKS new head office, consisting of a kitchen table and several laptops, I too have found myself with time on my hands. But it will give me an opportunity to do many of the things I have been wanting to do for a long time: update our website, launch a couple of new products, improve and add to my lifestyle blog, learn to draw, get a vegetable patch etc, etc.

Plan and Prepare

We don’t know how long we are going to be in self-isolation for. For many of us this is worrying as we need income and we need to plan. We also want to make sure we have a business that is ready to hit the road running when the threat from the virus is under control.

So, over the next few weeks I am going to share with you some ways that you can improve your administration and tighten up your systems.

1. Spring cleaning your website
2. Organising your contacts
3. Planning social media
4. Planning and writing blogs
5. Setting up other administrative systems

I will also be updating some of my existing “how to” blogs to help you along the way and throwing in a few freebies and offers too.
